nothing beats shopping

i had a well ace day 2day! spent aalll day shopping, it was gr8 (not 4 my bank account tho!) i went 2 trafford centre yestrday which was bit crap bcoz it was gila busy, cudnt look round much and i went 2 leeds 2day (is it jus me or are ppl at this side of pennines mor polite??)

leeds was much better, i got ther early and ther was hardly any ppl there, well not as much as i expectd neways. i spent bit much tho, lucky my dads not here! my arms ache soo much, such heavy bags and soo many, wish i had a slave 2 carry all my bags, any volunteers??? my slavegirls (lil sister) hands r 2 little and weak

bort quite a bit from lush so they gave me a big paper bag... and then it strtd snowin so yeh, paper bag...not the best idea, needless 2 say the bag tore but luckily it was when i tried 2 pik it up agen at a cafe- cudda been a v embarassin situation if it was whilst i was wlkin round leeds city centre! but i got out of tht situation with dignity-ish.... :-D

and fyi, pret a manger has the best coffee!

so my prents went 4 hajj yestrday, leavin me in charge of the twins hehehehe its gonna b ace "u call tht clean?! i want tht floor clean enough 2 eat off!!" "i sed roll the rotis round! not the shape of mongolia!!" heheeehe no am jokin, theyl hav an ace time for the 2 weeks am home.

i remember wen the twins wer younger i was spose 2 feed them wen they got bak from school coz my prents wer at work but they used 2 get really hyper and run round the house screamin if i did so i never used 2 feed them heheeehehe no thts not funny but am older and wiser now...well older neways...

rekon i shud jus quit 4 2nyt and then wake up erly 2morro 2 do it- like i been plannin 2 this entire week, so far erliest i managed 2 get up was 10.30 so the erliest i can start is 11, wots matter wid me, cant sleep till laaaate and cant wake till late im in a totaly diff time zone 2 evry1 els im sleepy but i wont be able 2 sleep this erly and i cant work, the pressure of the dedline shud b drivin me!

my hair!
c aftr i took out my braids, my hair was an affro and i was like all "cooooool, im a rastafarian!!" but then when i washed my hair, it jus turned in2 1 big tangle! man it was sooo bad, it was jus not possible to comb it! so i had 2 go 2 my mum 4 help......she was less than impressed, it was like bein 5 years old agen "ow! mum yor pullin my hair!!" "well wot do u xpect me 2 do! y didnt u ask me b4 u got yor hair braided, y didn't u..." hehee if eva yor in the same situation, let me tell u tht aint the best tym 2 do yor impression of a jamaican accent! so aaaaanyhoo, couple hours, half a jar of coconut oil and a pair of scissors later...
...my hair lookd like a lawnmower gon over it! but at least it was tangle free, my head felt soo light, coz my hairs been longer than waistlength for years

still havent got round 2 goin 2 salon yet, will do nxt week tho...its all goooooood......

so i finally untied my braids, all 65 of them and 4 cane rolls, tho i dnt think the cane rose count since they only extended 2 inches back, they wer jus a solution 2 my fringe really...

am feelin blue...

well i go bak home on satrday, and whilst am lookin 4wrd 2 goin bak 2 my bigger warmer, well insulated house in which the windows dnt let the wind through, mixer taps, constant hot water, big purple bathroom and all those other luxuries i been takin 4 granted (oh and im lookin 4wrd 2 seein myfamily 2!) im not lookin 4wrd 2 the big dinner party my mums throwin, seems 2 b a phase my family's goin thru at the mo, invyt minimum 40 ppl round 4 dinner (coz my uncle has com over for a few months only), i get ther in the aftrnoon, couple hours 2 help prepare than my aunties and uncles will come, shud b fun havin the same convo 10 times...

i shud've arranged 2 go home on sund, but my mum rekons i gotta b at this thing and also, i shud get strtd on my assignment on sund, wer ment 2 spend 65 hours researchin our carbon footprint over 2005, it aint half as fun as it sounds(!) so far ive spent 6 hours on it and ive only managed 2 do a 1 hour job and the deadlines on 12th, so ill hav about a week 2 work out wot 2 do, how 2 do it and then do it, and i got my business plan, a ton of french 2 do includin readin a french novel(=typin every word in the novel in2 wordrefernce.com) and i was hopin 2 actually read all the lecture notes since i hav an unusually short attention span and learnt nothin the entire term and oh, also study the set maths we wer assigned evry week which is gonna take 4eva (neva got past the maths set in week 1 u c) so yeh i think thts about it...its fun being me!

well i had a fun day 2day, bumpd in2 hauwa and shazia and decided 2 go 2 cov, jus wot i needed, shoppin, decent coffee and shesha! we went 2 habibis, this arab place (since we herd nandos meat is questionnable) its a nice place, small but cozy, no1 was ther wen we 1st came, so we danced as we smoked shesha hehee, food was good 2 had a ryt laff, and oh i can blow it out in circles now...almost, not as good as zainab J but am getin ther!

went 2 aerobics on weds, 1st tym i don any form of exercise since i been bak at uni! (unless runnin 4 the bus counts) pretty much wot i expected, gonna take me a few sessions 2 get used 2 a new instructor and new routine, i can feel myself packin on the pounds agen, gonna try 2 keep goin!
